Dean Lamb of Archspire left Kiesel Guitars some time ago to found Ethos Guitars; Tosin Abasi has had his own Abasi Concepts for several years already. The YouTuber Samurai Guitarist launched his own brand Otera recently.
Redux Records do great covers albums where they get a plethora of great noise/doom/stoner/sludge bands to cover classic albums, and they’ve just announced the next one in their series will be The Downward Spiral. There will also be a companion Best of Nine Inch Nails (Redux) album alongside it.

A few months ago, I released a punk album! I’d spent about a year making it, in my living room, using all open-source or otherwise free tools, and I think it’s pretty good! People here seemed to like it as well, but I thought, “What if maybe everyone didn’t see those posts? What if there’s some new people, who probably weren’t around when I posted the first time? What about people who’s musical tastes have changed, and really need some hardcore political ska/punk in their lives right now? Who am I to deprive those theoretical people of the chance for fulfillment?”
