Why do some movies feel like timeless classics while others feel cliché, even when they follow the exact same structure? In this video we break down common tropes and learn how to work with them to make more meaningful stories.

It is the pattern of clickbait title.
Really? Personally, I found the title terrible, in the sense that it was saying absolutely nothing - like literally. I did find the thumbnail clickbait-y tho.
Btw how did you find the content?
I refuse to click on links that don’t tell me enough about what’s on the other side because it’s clickbait so often.
Totally understandable, and for this reason I just added some text in this post’s description.
I remain unconvinced that Rocky is a Cinderella story. Framing it as „finds own worth” doesn’t sit right with me - I always felt it was more of a „person of power grants wealth and happiness which feels like a reward for previously unrecognised hard work” in Cinderella stories.
Similarity, I feel like author strips stories out of too much context before claiming they fit some trope or structure - it feels arbitrary even if I agree with the premise.
Also, I need to rewatch JSA.
