Summary
After a catastrophic experiment kills most of the population, Ava joins a body recovery unit tasked with clearing the dead from devastated zones. As she searches for her missing husband, she begins to uncover unsettling signs that not all of the dead are truly gone, forcing her to confront grief, hope, and the terrifying possibility of something far worse than death.
