There are a lot of shit burger places in Korea. They like to make savory things disgustingly sweet with sauces and bread and butter pickles. It’s getting better in Seoul at least, but the market is absolutely flooded with brand new smash burger places. Seems like a new one opens around me every week since Five Guys and Shake Shack burst onto the scene a few years back.
