I replaced a bolt in my chair

The stupid bolt snapped and caused the swivel to remain unlocked.

Finally, after putting it off way too long, I went to the hardware store and got one that almost fits.

Strong work !
A fantastic job! there are years more use out of that chair. Trim that long boy off and it will be the chef’s kiss of perfection.
Will do once I get the metal saw which I thought I have 😬
A Dremel (or other oscillating tool) would make quick work of that bolt as well!
I also…think have a metal saw around here somewhere
Screw, you.
You’re hanging by a thread, pal!
Hey fellow chair repairing brother. I just recently had one of the back supports break on my chair. One mending plate, two screws, and a little hammer into shape and I’m back up and sitting.
Chair repair brothers together strong! 💪
